Remioromen is a Japanese pop-rock band formed in late 2000 by former classmates Ryota Fujimaki on vocals and guitar, Keisuke Maeda on bass, and Osamu Jinguji on drums. The group debuted with the EP Festa and first album Asagao in 2003. “Sangatsu Kokonoka” and “Konayuki” appeared in the television drama 1 Litre of Tears, and “Konayuki” won Best Pop Video at the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards Japan. In 2005, Remioromen played Nippon Budokan. The following year, the band staged a concert at Yamanashi Airport, later documented on the live album Flash and Gleam.
