Reverend And The Makers are a British indie-rock band formed in Sheffield in 2005 and led by singer and songwriter Jon McClure. Electronic rhythms are part of their guitar-led sound, and they are best known for “Heavyweight Champion of the World” and the debut album The State of Things. In 2009, the band supported Oasis on UK stadium dates, including Wembley Stadium. They later maintained an extensive club and academy circuit and made repeated appearances at the Tramlines festival.
