Rex Orange County in London

Rex Orange County is the stage name of English singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Alexander O’Connor, who was born in 1998. He writes indie pop shaped by soul, jazz and R&B, and is known for the albums Apricot Princess, Pony and Who Cares?, as well as songs including “Best Friend,” “Sunflower,” “Loving Is Easy” and “Pluto Projector.” He also contributed vocals to Tyler, the Creator’s album Flower Boy. The Who Cares? Tour took Rex Orange County through North America and Europe in 2022 and included a headline show at the Hollywood Bowl. In 2024, Finally: A Theatre Tour centered on multi-night engagements, including performances at the London Palladium and Beacon Theatre. His headline concerts feature Rex Orange County singing and playing piano and guitar alongside a touring band. The Auditorium Theatre in Chicago and Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Toronto reflect the theatre settings of his later touring, while his festival history includes Coachella in Indio.
