Rhapsody Of Fire & Serious Black in Pratteln

Rhapsody of Fire is an Italian symphonic power metal band formed in Trieste in 1993 by guitarist Luca Turilli and keyboardist Alex Staropoli. Originally known as Rhapsody, the group adopted its present name in 2006. Its fantasy narratives and orchestral metal arrangements are established on albums including Legendary Tales, Symphony of Enchanted Lands and Dawn of Victory, and on songs such as “Emerald Sword” and “The Magic of the Wizard’s Dream.” At Earthshaker Fest in 2005, actor Christopher Lee joined the band to perform “The Magic of the Wizard’s Dream.” Rhapsody of Fire later played Wacken Open Air in 2011, and recordings from its 2012 European dates were released as Live – From Chaos to Eternity.

Serious Black are a multinational European power-metal band formed in 2014. The original lineup brought together musicians associated with Blind Guardian, Helloween and Tad Morose, while albums such as As Daylight Breaks, Mirrorworld and Magic established the group’s melodic, guitar-led sound. In 2015, Serious Black toured Europe as a guest of HammerFall on the World Wide (r)Evolution tour, which introduced the new band in established metal venues. They later moved into headline club touring, including their own Magic Tour 2017.
