Richie Kotzen is an American singer, guitarist and songwriter, born in Reading, Pennsylvania, in 1970. His music draws on hard rock, blues, funk and jazz fusion, and his solo catalogue includes Mother Head’s Family Reunion, Into the Black and the song “You Can’t Save Me.” He has also recorded with Poison on Native Tongue, with Mr. Big on Get Over It and Actual Size, and as a member of The Winery Dogs.

The Winery Dogs toured internationally after their self-titled 2013 debut and returned to the road behind Hot Streak. In 2022, Richie Kotzen and Iron Maiden guitarist Adrian Smith took their Smith/Kotzen collaboration into clubs and theatres in Britain and the United States; the following year, The Winery Dogs toured behind III.

Richie Kotzen’s solo concerts have commonly used a power-trio format, placing his vocals and fingerstyle electric guitar beside bassist Dylan Wilson and drummer Mike Bennett.
