Rick Ross in Las Vegas

Rick Ross is an American rapper and record executive, born in Mississippi and raised in Carol City, Florida. His Southern hip-hop career took shape around the 2006 single “Hustlin’” and the album Port of Miami; later staples include “B.M.F. (Blowin’ Money Fast)” and “Aston Martin Music.” He also founded the Maybach Music Group label. The 2012 MMG Tour took Rick Ross across the United States with Wale and Meek Mill, bringing the label’s collaborative records to the stage. He followed it in 2013 with the Mastermind Tour, performing with 1500 or Nothin’ as his backing band. In 2021 he joined the arena tour Legendz of the Streetz alongside Jeezy, Gucci Mane and 2 Chainz.
