Artist
Ringmasters is a Swedish barbershop quartet formed in Stockholm in 2006. The group performs close-harmony a cappella arrangements of traditional barbershop material and pop songs, and is known for its “Notre Dame Medley” and for becoming the first quartet from outside North America to win the Barbershop Harmony Society’s international championship. In 2008, Ringmasters won the society’s international collegiate quartet contest, followed by the International Quartet Championship in 2012. Their concerts are built around four unaccompanied vocal parts: tenor, lead, baritone and bass. The 2012 championship performance took place at the Barbershop Harmony Society convention in Portland.
