Riot V in Minneapolis

Riot V is an American heavy metal band formed in New York City in 1975, originally under the name Riot. Founded by guitarist Mark Reale, the group is known for the albums Fire Down Under and Thundersteel, as well as songs including “Swords and Tequila,” “Warrior” and “Thundersteel.” The band adopted the Riot V name after Mark Reale’s death. Riot played the inaugural Monsters of Rock festival at Castle Donington in 1980, on a lineup headed by Rainbow. Decades later, the band performed at Keep It True in 2015 and issued the set as Live at Keep It True Festival 2015.
