Rita Wilson in Glasgow

Rita Wilson is an American singer-songwriter, actor and producer, born in Los Angeles in 1956. Known on screen for films including Sleepless in Seattle and as a producer of My Big Fat Greek Wedding, she began her recording career with AM/FM, an album of songs from the 1960s and 1970s. Her later releases include the original-song albums Bigger Picture and Halfway to Home, which features “Throw Me a Party.” Wilson made her Grand Ole Opry debut in Nashville in 2016. In 2019, she performed at Stagecoach in Indio and later appeared on the Acoustic Stage at Glastonbury Festival.
