Robin Trower in St. Petersburg

Robin Trower is an English rock guitarist, born in London in 1945, who first became widely known through Procol Harum before leading his own power trio. His solo catalogue is rooted in blues rock and includes the albums Twice Removed from Yesterday and Bridge of Sighs, as well as the songs “Day of the Eagle” and “Too Rolling Stoned.” His 1975 concert at Stockholm Concert Hall was recorded for the album Robin Trower Live, capturing the trio with vocalist and bassist James Dewar and drummer Bill Lordan. Decades later, he toured with Jack Bruce following their album Seven Moons; a performance featuring drummer Gary Husband at De Vereeniging was released as Seven Moons Live, documenting the trio in Nijmegen.
