Rocket From The Crypt in Chicago

Rocket From The Crypt is an American punk rock band formed in San Diego in 1990. Led by singer and guitarist John Reis, the group is known for a guitar-and-horn sound heard on albums including Circa: Now! and Scream, Dracula, Scream!, as well as the songs “On a Rope” and “Born in ’69.” The band ended its original run with a Halloween farewell concert at the Westin Horton Plaza in 2005, later documented in the concert release R.I.P. After re-forming, Rocket From The Crypt returned to clubs and festival stages in 2013, including Coachella.
