Rocketship is an American indie-pop band formed in Sacramento in 1993. Fuzzed guitars, organ and understated pop vocals shape its best-known album, A Certain Smile, a Certain Sadness, released by Slumberland Records in 1996 and featuring “I Love You Like the Way That I Used to Do.” In 2013, Rocketship returned to the stage after a long absence for a rare appearance at NYC Popfest.
