About Róisín Murphy
Róisín Murphy is an Irish singer, songwriter and producer who first became known as the voice of Moloko, the electronic-pop duo she formed in Sheffield with Mark Brydon. Moloko’s signature songs include “Sing It Back” and “The Time Is Now”; her solo catalogue includes the albums Ruby Blue, Overpowered, Hairless Toys, Róisín Machine and Hit Parade.
The Overpowered Tour took her solo work through concert halls and festivals after the album’s 2007 release. In 2022, she performed material from Róisín Machine at the Royal Albert Hall in London, presenting the record in a full-band concert.
Róisín Murphy performs with a live band and changes costumes repeatedly during the set, using masks, hats and sculptural outfits as part of the performance.
She has also performed at Glastonbury and at Primavera Sound in Barcelona.
