Roland Kaiser is a German schlager singer, born in Berlin in 1952, who began releasing records in the 1970s. He is known for songs including “Santa Maria,” “Dich zu lieben” and “Joana,” while his duet “Warum hast du nicht nein gesagt” with Maite Kelly introduced his music to another generation of listeners. Since 2003, Kaisermania has brought him to the Filmnächte am Elbufer in Dresden for a recurring series of open-air concerts. He later marked five decades as a recording artist with the 2024 stadium tour RK50 | 50 Jahre – 50 Hits!.
