About ROME
ROME is a Luxembourgish neofolk project founded in 2005 by singer-songwriter Jérôme Reuter. Its music pairs dark acoustic songwriting and Reuter’s baritone with martial-industrial rhythms and historical and political texts. It is known for albums including Masse Mensch Material, Flowers from Exile and A Passage to Rhodesia, as well as the song “To Die Among Strangers.”
ROME recorded the live album Hansa Studios Session at Hansa Studios in Berlin. Performances center on Reuter’s voice and guitar, supported by percussion and additional musicians, a format used for headline dates and festival appearances. The project has also performed at Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig.
