Ron Gallo is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist who plays garage rock shaped by punk, blues and experimental sounds. After fronting the Philadelphia band Toy Soldiers, he established a solo catalogue led by the albums Heavy Meta, Stardust Birthday Party and Foreground Music; “Young Lady, You’re Scaring Me” is among his best-known songs. In 2017, Ron Gallo performed songs from Heavy Meta for NPR’s Tiny Desk concert series. Touring around that record also took him to Bonnaroo, and he appeared at Coachella in 2018.
