Ron Pope in Ann Arbor

Ron Pope is an American singer-songwriter from Georgia whose music centers on acoustic pop, piano-led rock and confessional songwriting. He first recorded “A Drop in the Ocean” as a member of The District, and the song became the best-known work of his solo career. His albums include Atlanta, Calling Off the Dogs and Work. In 2016, he toured with the Nighthawks behind the album Ron Pope & The Nighthawks, presenting the material with a full rock band. Later headline runs supported Work and Bone Structure in clubs and theatres, and his concert schedule has regularly extended beyond the United States to the United Kingdom.
