Ron Sexsmith in Georgetown

Ron Sexsmith is a Canadian singer-songwriter, born in St. Catharines, Ontario, in 1964. His melodic folk-pop first reached a wider audience through the 1995 album Ron Sexsmith; his best-known songs include “Secret Heart,” “Strawberry Blonde” and “Gold in Them Hills.” In the mid-1990s, Ron Sexsmith opened concerts for Elvis Costello after the release of his self-titled album. His own shows have since taken two established forms: solo performances built around voice, guitar and piano, and concerts backed by a band. He has repeatedly brought both formats to Toronto and London.
