About Roosevelt
Roosevelt is the synth-pop and nu-disco project of German singer, songwriter and producer Marius Lauber, who grew up in Viersen and worked in Cologne’s electronic music scene. He first drew attention with “Elliot” and “Montreal,” then released the self-titled album Roosevelt. Young Romance, Polydans and Embrace followed, featuring songs including “Fever,” “Sign” and “Strangers.”
Roosevelt brought the self-titled debut to Melt Festival in 2016, performing with a live band built around Lauber’s vocals, guitar and synthesizers. The project later toured Europe and North America behind Young Romance and Polydans, playing headline club dates as well as Coachella and Primavera Sound.
