Rootsriders are a Dutch reggae band formed in 2006 to perform the music of Bob Marley. Their repertoire centres on Marley songs including “Exodus,” “No Woman, No Cry” and “Redemption Song,” played in a roots-reggae style by a full band. In 2006, the musicians assembled for a concert commemorating 25 years since Marley’s death. Rootsriders subsequently took the programme to clubs, theatres and festivals in the Netherlands and elsewhere, keeping their concerts focused on the catalogue of Bob Marley.
