Rose Tattoo is an Australian hard-rock band formed in Sydney in 1976. Fronted by Angry Anderson and originally featuring slide guitarist Pete Wells, the group built its name on blues-rooted rock and songs including “Bad Boy for Love,” “Rock ’n’ Roll Outlaw,” “We Can’t Be Beaten” and “Scarred for Life.” In 1981, Rose Tattoo performed at Reading Festival. The band reunited in 1993 to support Guns N’ Roses on the Australian dates of the Use Your Illusion Tour, then returned to international festival stages in later years. Their performance at Wacken Open Air in 2000 was released as the live album 25 to Life.
Gilby Clarke is an American guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer, born in Cleveland in 1962. He is best known as the rhythm guitarist who succeeded Izzy Stradlin in Guns N’ Roses and played on The Spaghetti Incident?. His solo work began with Pawnshop Guitars, which includes “Cure Me or Kill Me” and “Tijuana Jail.” In 1991, Gilby Clarke joined Guns N’ Roses during the Use Your Illusion Tour, then performed with the band at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert at Wembley Stadium in 1992. After that period, he recorded and toured with Slash’s Snakepit in support of It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere. He later played guitar in Rock Star Supernova, the group formed through the television series featuring Tommy Lee, Jason Newsted and Lukas Rossi.
