About Rosie Flores

Rosie Flores is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist born in San Antonio in 1950. She plays country and rockabilly with roots-rock and blues elements, and first recorded with the Screamin’ Sirens before beginning her solo career. Her best-known albums include Rosie Flores, After the Farm, Rockabilly Filly and Working Girl’s Guitar.

In 1997, Flores brought rockabilly singer Janis Martin back to the road for her first tour in decades. Her later club work included performances at the Continental Club in Austin, and in 2023 she made her Grand Ole Opry debut in Nashville.
