Rubén Pozo in Bilbao

Rubén Pozo is a Spanish singer, songwriter and guitarist, born in Barcelona and raised in Madrid, best known as one half of the rock duo Pereza with Leiva. Before Pereza he played in Buenas Noches Rose; with the duo he helped establish guitar-led songs including “Princesas,” “Lady Madrid” and “Estrella polar.” His solo catalogue began with Lo que más and later included En marcha and Habrá que vivir. As a member of Pereza, he toured behind Animales, Aproximaciones and Aviones, performing in theatres, arenas and festivals in Spain and Latin America. After Lo que más, he returned to the road under his own name with a full band, then joined Lichis for the collaborative album and concert tour Mesa para dos.
