RuPaul in Dallas

RuPaul is an American drag performer, singer, actor and television host, born in San Diego in 1960. He is known for the dance-pop single “Supermodel (You Better Work),” the album “Supermodel of the World” and the television competition “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” During the 1980s, he performed at Atlanta’s Celebrity Club and later appeared in New York’s downtown drag scene at the Pyramid Club and Wigstock. He subsequently performed “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” with Elton John at the Brit Awards.
