Ruth Lorenzo in Badajoz

Ruth Lorenzo is a Spanish pop-rock singer and songwriter, born in Murcia in 1982. She became known to British audiences as a contestant on The X Factor in 2008, then represented Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with “Dancing in the Rain.” Her releases include the album Planeta Azul. The X Factor Live Tour took her through arenas in the UK and Ireland in 2009. Five years later, she performed “Dancing in the Rain” at B&W Hallerne in Copenhagen for the Eurovision final.
