Ruthie Foster in Tomball

Ruthie Foster is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist from Gause, Texas, whose music draws on blues, gospel, soul and folk. Her best-known recordings include the albums The Phenomenal Ruthie Foster, The Truth According to Ruthie Foster and Let It Burn. The 2011 concert album Live at Antone’s documented her band at the Austin blues club. She later led the Ruthie Foster Big Band at the Paramount Theatre, and that performance was released as Live at the Paramount in 2020. She has performed at both the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Bluesfest in Byron Bay.
