Artists
Sabaton is a Swedish power-metal band formed in Falun in 1999. Military history is the central subject of its songs, including “Primo Victoria,” “Ghost Division” and “The Last Stand,” while The Art of War, Carolus Rex and Heroes are among its best-known albums. On the Swedish Empire Tour, Sabaton built its set around Carolus Rex and played an extensive run of headline dates. In 2019, the band marked its twentieth anniversary at Wacken Open Air with a performance spread across the festival’s two main stages. The Great Tour then paired Sabaton with Apocalyptica on European dates, followed later by The Tour to End All Tours. Sabaton performs as a full metal band led by singer Joakim Brodén. A tank-shaped drum riser has become a recurring feature of its arena and festival shows. In London, Sabaton has headlined OVO Arena Wembley; in Amsterdam, the band has performed at Ziggo Dome.
Pop Evil is an American hard-rock band formed in Michigan in 2001. Led by vocalist Leigh Kakaty, the group plays hard rock and alternative metal; its best-known songs include “Trenches,” “Torn to Pieces,” “Footsteps” and “Waking Lions,” while Onyx and Up are among its central albums. In 2012, Pop Evil joined the inaugural Trespass America Festival tour, headed by Five Finger Death Punch. They later supported Judas Priest on North American dates of the Redeemer of Souls Tour. In 2016, their own Rock 'N' Roll Now Tour featured support from Red Sun Rising and Badflower.
