Sagopa Kajmer in Sanliurfa

Sagopa Kajmer is the stage name of Yunus Özyavuz, a Turkish rapper, producer and DJ born in Samsun in 1978. He initially recorded as Silahsız Kuvvet before adopting his present name. His best-known releases include the albums Bir Pesimistin Gözyaşları, Romantizma and Kötü İnsanları Tanıma Senesi, as well as tracks such as “Vasiyet,” “Baytar” and “366.Gün.” Sagopa Kajmer has repeatedly performed in Istanbul and has also given concerts in Ankara and Bursa, making Turkey the principal market for his live work. Performances in London have brought his Turkish-language catalogue to audiences in the United Kingdom.
