Salebarbes in Saint-Jérôme

Salebarbes is a Canadian Acadian roots band formed in 2019 by Jean-François Breau, Éloi Painchaud, Jonathan Painchaud, Kevin McIntyre and George Belliveau. The group plays French-language Acadian and Cajun folk-rock, drawing on traditional material and original songs. Its releases include the self-titled Salebarbes, Gin à l’eau salée and À boire deboutte. Salebarbes performed at the Festival d’été de Québec as its audience expanded beyond theatre dates. The À boire deboutte tour later reached arena stages at the Bell Centre in Montreal and Centre Vidéotron in Québec City.
