Sam Riggs is a Florida-born American singer-songwriter associated with the Texas country and Red Dirt scene. His country rock catalog includes the albums Outrun the Sun, Breathless and Love & Panic, as well as songs such as “When the Lights Go Out,” “High on a Country Song” and “The Lucky Ones.”

Sam Riggs developed his live act in Texas clubs backed by the Night People. The concert release Live at the Blue Light documented that early period at the Blue Light in Lubbock.
