Sammy Rae & The Friends in Madison

Sammy Rae & The Friends are an American soul-pop band formed in New York City in 2016 around singer-songwriter Sammy Rae. Their music draws on funk, jazz and rock, and their best-known songs include “Good Life,” “Kick It to Me” and “Follow Me Like the Moon.” The group released its debut album, Something for Everybody, in 2024. On the 2022 If It All Goes South Tour, the band headlined clubs and theatres across North America. They later took the Something for Everybody Tour through North America and Europe. The group has performed at Tennessee’s Bonnaroo and in Chicago at Lollapalooza.
