Artist
Sanam is a Lebanese six-piece formed in Beirut in 2021. The group plays free-form experimental rock shaped by Arabic-language vocals, buzuq, guitars, bass and percussion, and introduced its recorded work with the album Aykathani Malakon. Sanam performed at Le Guess Who? in Utrecht in 2023, then appeared at Roadburn in Tilburg in 2024. These festival dates placed the sextet in settings devoted to experimental and heavy music, including Roadburn.
