Sandra Mihanovich in Buenos Aires

Sandra Mihanovich is an Argentine singer and actress, born in 1957, whose repertoire encompasses pop, rock, jazz and blues. She is closely associated with the songs “Puerto Pollensa” and “Soy lo que soy,” while her recordings with Celeste Carballo include the albums Somos mucho más que dos and Mujer contra mujer. She began singing in Buenos Aires pubs in 1976 and became the first woman to give her own concert at Estadio Obras Sanitarias in 1982. Later in the decade, she performed in theatres as a duo with Carballo, presenting their joint repertoire under the name Sandra y Celeste.
