About Santero y Los Muchachos
Santero y Los Muchachos are a Spanish rock band formed in Valencia in 2012. The group calls its measured, roots-minded sound “rock reposado,” drawing on rock and roll, bolero and country. Its principal albums include Ventura, Rioflorido and Cantina.
The tour built around Cantina brought the group’s intimate arrangements into theatres across Spain. The musicians later enlarged that concert format with additional instrumentation for the live project Royal Cantina.
