Sara Parkman in Kungsbacka

Sara Parkman is a Swedish violinist, singer and composer whose music draws on traditional folk song, choral writing and experimental pop. She is known for the albums Vesper and Eros Agape Philia, which place her voice and fiddle within arrangements that also use electronics and layered vocals. Fäboland, a touring stage work presented through Riksteatern, brought her music to theatres around Sweden. The production centered on two voices and two fiddles; her later solo concerts have put newer songs into a band setting while preserving the close vocal and violin interplay she developed with Samantha Ohlanders.
