Sarah Brightman in Ljubljana

Sarah Brightman is an English soprano and actress, born in 1960, whose work spans musical theatre, classical crossover and pop. She originated the role of Christine Daaé in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera in London and later joined the original Broadway cast. Her best-known recordings include the Andrea Bocelli duet “Time to Say Goodbye” and the albums Eden, La Luna and Harem. The 1999 One Night in Eden tour was followed by the La Luna World Tour in 2000 and 2001. She later mounted the Harem World Tour in 2004, filming its Las Vegas concert at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, and returned to international arenas with the Dreamchaser World Tour in 2013. Her concert itineraries have included extensive runs in Japan and Germany.
