Sarah Hester Ross in Washington

Sarah Hester Ross is an American musical comedian, singer-songwriter and pianist who combines stand-up with original songs. She is known for “Stop Giving Men Microphones,” “Don’t Be a Ball Sack” and her recording of “Savage Daughter”; her filmed comedy special is titled Don’t Mess with a Redhead. Ross developed her stage act as a dueling pianist in Las Vegas before taking her own musical-comedy shows on the road. She has toured Don’t Mess with a Redhead through US comedy clubs and theatres, and presented Sarah Hester Ross Is What? at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
