Sarah Jarosz in Brownfield

Sarah Jarosz is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Wimberley, Texas, who plays contemporary folk, bluegrass and Americana on mandolin, banjo and guitar. Her recordings include the albums Song Up in Her Head, Build Me Up from Bones, Undercurrent and World on the Ground, as well as songs such as “Build Me Up from Bones” and “House of Mercy.” In 2017, she premiered the commissioned Blue Heron Suite at FreshGrass Festival at MASS MoCA. The following year, she toured as a member of I’m With Her, the trio she formed with Sara Watkins and Aoife O’Donovan, in support of their album See You Around. She subsequently brought World on the Ground and Polaroid Lovers to theatres and festival stages with her own band. Her festival appearances include performances at Newport Folk Festival and MerleFest.
