Satoshi Ikeda in Chiyoda City

Satoshi Ikeda is a Japanese singer-songwriter, born in 1963, who performs polished kayōkyoku and J-pop often associated with city pop. He debuted in 1986 with “Monochrome Venus” and is also known for “Nureta Kami no Lonely” and “Tsuki no Fune.” Ikeda has toured Japanese live houses and small halls in a solo, guitar-led format, drawing set lists from his 1980s catalogue and later releases. He has sustained that close-up concert series under the name Burari Tour.
