Marianne Rosenberg & Claudia Jung in Bernau bei Berlin

Marianne Rosenberg is a German singer, born in Berlin in 1955, whose work spans schlager, pop and disco. She is best known for songs including “Er gehört zu mir,” “Ich bin wie du,” “Marleen” and “Lieder der Nacht.” At Ein Lied für Stockholm in 1975, she performed “Er gehört zu mir” in Frankfurt am Main as part of Germany’s televised selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. She returned to the national final in 1982, performing “Blue-Jeans-Kinder” at Ein Lied für Harrogate in Munich.

Claudia Jung is a German schlager singer, born in Ratingen in 1964. Her catalogue includes “Stumme Signale,” “Atemlos” and “Komm und tanz ein letztes Mal,” while “Je t’aime mon amour,” recorded with pianist Richard Clayderman, became one of her best-known duets. Claudia Jung appeared on ZDF-Hitparade during her early recording career and went on to perform her German-language repertoire at concert halls and schlager galas in Germany and Austria. Her stage history also includes appearances on the televised folk and schlager programme Musikantenstadl.
