Nockis in Altenmarkt im Pongau

Nockis are an Austrian schlager band formed in Carinthia in 1982 under the name Nockalm Quintett. Led by singer Gottfried Würcher, the group is known for melodic pop songs including “Schwarzer Sand von Santa Cruz” and “Zieh dich an und geh.” The band’s long-running Nockisfest in Millstatt became a central part of its concert history, bringing its songs to an annual open-air setting. Nockis have also performed at the televised schlager event Wenn die Musi spielt in Bad Kleinkirchheim.
