Schwiizergoofe in Zurich

Schwiizergoofe is a Swiss children’s music project initiated by Nikol Camenzind, built around modern songs performed in Swiss German dialects. Its first release was a 2013 double album featuring 15 vocal tracks and instrumental sing-along versions; it reached the Swiss album top ten and received platinum certification. A second double album, recorded at a summer camp, followed later that year, while subsequent releases have included Früehlig & Summer and Abentüür Iischlafe. The original material was composed by Camenzind and Georg Schlunegger and recorded by dialect-speaking children aged six to twelve.
