SCOOBIE DO is a Japanese four-piece funk-rock band formed in Tokyo in 1995. Their rhythm-led rock is represented by “Akaneiro ga Moeru Toki,” used as the ending theme for the anime Gungrave, and the album BREAK ROCK. The members call the group the “Funky 4.” The Funk-a-lismo! tour series has repeatedly taken the band through Japanese live houses. SCOOBIE DO brought the same four-piece set to a larger setting in 2015, marking its 20th anniversary at Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall in Tokyo.
