Scott Kelly in Adelaide

Scott Kelly is an American singer, guitarist and songwriter best known as a co-founder of the Oakland heavy band Neurosis, formed in 1985. He sang and played guitar on albums including Through Silver in Blood and Times of Grace; his solo records Spirit Bound Flesh, The Wake and The Forgiven Ghost in Me explored sparse acoustic folk, country and ambient music. Neurosis marked its 30th anniversary with two concerts at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco in 2016, part of Scott Kelly’s decades of international performances with the band. His own concerts centered on voice and acoustic guitar and were also billed as Scott Kelly and the Road Home. He toured the industrial, experimental metal of Mirrors for Psychic Warfare with collaborator Sanford Parker.
