Scotty McCreery in Mount Vernon

Scotty McCreery is an American country singer from Garner, North Carolina, who won the tenth season of American Idol. His deep baritone introduced his debut album, Clear as Day, and later became familiar through songs including “Five More Minutes,” “This Is It” and “Damn Strait.” In 2011, Scotty McCreery joined the American Idols Live! Tour, and the following year he opened for Brad Paisley on the Virtual Reality World Tour. He later led the Seasons Change Tour and the Damn Strait Tour, building his own theatre and concert-hall itinerary. In 2024, he was inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
