Scythian is an American Celtic rock band formed in Washington, D.C., in 2002 by brothers Alexander and Danylo Fedoryka. The group plays fiddle-driven folk rock with Celtic and punk elements, and its recorded work includes the albums Immigrant Road Show, Jump at the Sun and Roots & Stones. In 2015, Scythian founded the Appaloosa Festival in Front Royal, Virginia, where the band has performed as the host act. Scythian has also appeared at MerleFest and Milwaukee Irish Fest.
