Şebnem Ferah is a Turkish rock singer-songwriter, born in Yalova in 1972. After fronting the all-female band Volvox, she began her solo career with the 1996 album Kadın. Her catalogue includes “Sil Baştan,” “Vazgeçtim Dünyadan,” “Yağmurlar” and the album Can Kırıkları. On 10 March 2007, she performed at Bostancı Gösteri Merkezi accompanied by the Istanbul Symphony Orchestra, and the concert was released as 10 Mart 2007 İstanbul Konseri. She has also headlined open-air concerts at Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Açıkhava Tiyatrosu.
