Seda Sayan in Istanbul

Seda Sayan is a Turkish singer, actress and television presenter, born in Istanbul in 1962. Her recordings draw on pop, arabesk and fantezi, and “Ah Geceler” is among the songs most closely associated with her. She has also hosted numerous television programmes. She began performing at wedding halls before moving into the gazino circuit, where singers appeared with orchestras in extended stage programmes. She later performed at Maksim Gazinosu, a prominent venue in Turkey’s gazino tradition.
