Antti Paalanen in Espoo

Antti Paalanen is a Finnish accordionist, composer and singer whose solo music draws on folk, electronic dance rhythms and rock. He plays the diatonic accordion and adds deep, guttural vocals; his recordings include the albums Breathbox, Meluta and Rujo. At WOMEX 2019 in Tampere, he presented the solo format at the heart of his concerts, using accordion, voice and physical rhythm to perform music from his catalogue.
