Sergio Caputo is an Italian singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Rome in 1954. His music draws on jazz, swing and pop, and he is best known for the 1983 album Un sabato italiano, its title song and “Italiani mambo.” In 1987, he performed “Il Garibaldi innamorato” at the Festival di Sanremo and returned two years later with “Rifarsi una vita.” In 2023, he celebrated the fortieth anniversary of Un sabato italiano in concert, bringing the anniversary show to Teatro Olimpico in Rome.
